Bespectacled Wilhelm and Martha Miracle started their Miracle Chair Company in the Northeast in 1946 right after the war. Wilhelm commissioned his brother, August, an excellent carpenter, to build the three-story factory and also to work in the factory where the famous expertly-built Miracle Chairs were made.

Wilhelm started the firm because he couldn’t find a good, solid chair to sit on. Most were made so poorly they either didn’t feel right when he sat down, or they simply fell apart over a short time. Wilhelm, Martha and August were proud of their sturdy chairs, and the slogan “If it’s a good chair, it’s a Miracle” stuck.

Now you can be part of the Miracle.

The three-story factory kit, with an adjunct 1-1/2-story boiler house, has a footprint of 14-1/2” x 6” with the boiler house, or 11-1/2” x 6” with loading platforms only. The height of the structure with water tank is 8-1/2”.

This is the first kit of this configuration ever offered in 1:64 scale.

Based on Northeastern U.S. prototype factory structures, this laser-cut kit features Northeastern basswood, with all major cutting completed. Walls are double thickness 1/16” basswood and corner trim is 1/16” milled basswood angle. A banded cylindrical-topped water tower adorns the roof of the structure's loading area, and dust-gatherer cyclones are included as part of the kit details. Flooring material for all floors is included in the kit, which makes for an incredibly strong structure.

Plastic windows and doors are from Tichy Train Products. Complete instructions with color photos of the building are included with each kit.
